Security Feed

Overview

The Security Feed menu displays news, exploits, and advisories collected from the ISAC service. Security operations personnel can use this menu to quickly review the latest security trends and vulnerability information.

Security feeds are divided into the following three types:

  • News: Latest cybersecurity news feed
  • Exploits: Published exploit information feed
  • Advisories: Security advisory feed from trusted sources

All three feeds share the same layout and are read-only.

Note
The Intelligence menu is available only when an ISAC key is registered on the server. Ensure that your network security policy allows outbound connections so that the Logpresso Sonar server can connect to the ISAC service.

View and search the list

You can view each feed list under Intelligence > News, Intelligence > Exploits, or Intelligence > Advisories.

The list displays the following columns:

  • No.: Row number of the item
  • Title: Title of the feed item
  • Source: Source of the feed item
  • Date: Date the feed item was registered (yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm format)

Click a row to open the original article in a new browser tab.

Enter a keyword in the search field at the top of the list to filter items that contain the keyword.

Refresh the list

To refresh the list with the latest data, click Refresh at the top of the list.
