Sites

Overview

Sites let you organize the IP addresses of assets into logical operating units. Under Policies > Sites, security operators can define sites and then link them when registering assets, so you can distinguish assets by operating location or organizational unit even when they share the same IP range.

In practice, organizing assets by the location or operating entity they belong to — such as headquarters, branch office, IDC, or research center — as sites lets you manage the asset list more systematically. Site information appears as a selectable item on the screen where you register assets, and the same reference data can also be reused on ticket screens and other asset-related screens.

All users, including administrators, can view the site list. You need company administrator permission to add, edit, or delete sites.
